Blackout hood on phasered rallye stripes cars

I have noticed this is not common to see.

I know Rallye cars got the Rallye stripe on them as part of the package but blackout hood was an option on phasered stripe cars?

Was an extra also on black Rallye stripe cars ?

Same about the deck lid stripe

Perf hood paint was an option separate from the Rally package. I have not personally seen a car that paired the perf hood paint with the multicolored side stripe, but I see no reason why not.

Deck lid stripe?? My favourite Charger is the 72 Rallye, and as far as I know, that was the last time Chrysler put a trunk lid stripe on third gen Charger, or did I miss something? Been heavily into Mopars over 35 years and have never seen that...

Nacho-RT74

73/74 got also the rear deck stripe. Diff design than 72 though

There it states about the blackout on hood as separated option, so I got my anwer on that somehow, but it seems to be extremelly rare on phasered stripe cars?

Well, now I can't say I have not yet seen V6R and V21 together. Wonder if that car still exists?

It exists and I'm looking at it right now. Unfortunately it's been repainted in its life... so the phasered stripes and hood treatment aren't there.... at least not for now... That's why I've been chatting with Nacho. He's been helping me decipher my broadcast/fender tag and discuss the different options the cars came with... plus the venture of the stripes.

My previous post was from the original chrysler invoice that I just recently acquired.

I think the reason for this is that the only option to the black stripe in '73 was the V6R if my memory serves me correctly.  It seems very common for 73 Rallye chargers to have the V21 hood treatment. In 74, it seems as though the majority of Rallye cars were not optioned with the V21 hood treatment for some reason. '74 also saw the introduction of the V6K and V6Y stripes. So my line of thinking is that, if less 74 cars had the V21 option, and there were more phasered stripes available for the 74 model year, then most phasered striped cars would be '74s. As a result, less phasered striped cars would have V21 hoods. The phasered stripes are alone pretty rare.

My 73 Rallye is a V6R V21 car. My 74 Rallye also has the deck lid stripe.

It exist twice. My mr norms 74 rallye 4 speed has both options. V6r and v21. What I want to know is how many white rallye cars with the v6r and v21 codes were made in 74 with a 400 4 speed. Supposedly I have heard only two white rallyes were made with v6r in 74 with a 400 motto. .one was an automatic car and one was a 4 speed.

So getting back to the V21 option... Was that the only black out? Where its cut out around the hood callout? Ive seen different treatments but wasnt sure what was the one i should have.

71s got the black out as a decal at the very top of buldge

72/74s were painted since due covered all the buldge and not just the top, so curvatures could make not to fit correctly a decal. 73/74s were with the cutouts

On the reflective strip pic you can't see the seatbelt setup hanging from B pillar area. The pic I posted after that one is the same car and you can see the shorter rear guards.

Hard to see if hood got grilles or not. I think am able to see some grilles shadow on passenger side.

Maybe a later 73?

Cool car and set up.

There's is absolutely no way to know that combination. The factory numbers don't work that way. Who ever you heard that from was guessing.

Just EW1 74 400 4 speed Rallyes could probably be counted on your fingers and toes. As specific as your criteria is - you have probably narrowed it down to just a couple cars. You get deep enough, every car is 1 of 1.
