The 1969 and 1970 have very similar taillights. Most 1970 cars had the aluminum trim panel on the back. Only the XH series Chargers came without it. Hard to tell if that one is an XH, XP or what.

alfaitalia

Gotcha....yeah I realise it's a 70 Len (no mistaking that ugly nose! .....no offence 70 owners).....but all the ones I've seem around the world in my travels.....about three!......have had the panel that makes the lights look like they go the full width of the trunk. Wondered if that 70 had a 69 light panel....got it now though. Never seen a 70 in the UK so my knowledge of that year is a bit lacking!

That aluminum panel does change the look of the rear quite a bit.

My '70 Charger R/T had those wheels on it when I bought it, I hoped nobody would see me driving it until I could sneak it home, hide it in the garage and replace the wheels. Different strokes..........
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Homerr

I worked at a place where I looked out the window down the side street in the late 80's and early 90's.  A guy working down that street had a faded red 69 Charger R/T with shiny Centerlines and new tires.  I spent many hours daydreaming looking at that car!

Charger_Fan

Geez guys, easy pickins! It's obviously a base model (XH)...unless someone transplanted '69 taillights or '70 XH taillights into a '70 500 or R/T model. And nobody clued into it's missing windshield?

Until today, I didn't know you were in Canada. You hid it so well... ;D

Proper pronunciation...Centerline...sez so on the hubcaps.   ;) Hehe :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
