Hey all, here's a little introduction to myself, sorry if this is not allowed or something, but here we go!

My Name is Blaise, and I'm from Ontario, Canada, Im only 17 ATM, and do not have a Charger, YET. I'm a fan of the old American muscle, especially the 2nd gen charger, so that is the ultimate goal. My automotive background started when I took my Dads old jeep out of the woods to Semi-restore it into an off-road truck, as off now that project is pretty wrapped up. Then I got thinking about the muscle and Chargers, my Grandpa had a 68-383 and always is bringing up when he raced a corvette, before it was totaled (he was hit on the highway) and my Great Grandparents had a 69 (that got rear-ended). My Parents have had there share of muscle too, (Mom had a 87 trans am Dad used to be an offroad racer). So I've been saving up all my money for the past couple years now, plus got myself a summer job this year to hopefully find a 2nd gen Charger project. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I am determined, this is going to happen, I don't wan't a fully restored show car, I want something I can drive and have a bit of fun with. I'm not looking just yet, going to wait to at least the end of the summer, maybe two so I'll have more cash, but def going to be on the lookout for a project 2nd gen sooner or later.

Thanks, Blaise

Welcome to the site Blaise, I'm located in Southern Ontario. Good luck with your project and I would suggest keeping your eye out now for that car even if you are not ready to lay down the cash yet. Got my first Charger back in the day when I was 20, of course back then you could go to the wreckers and still find them and the local Auto Trader was full of 70's Mopar.

Keep us posted. Alan

Welcome Blaise! Dreams fuel hard work, and dreams come true to those that persevere. So keep dreaming and keep working and gain as much knowledge as you can so you can buy the best charger your money will buy.

YES, more Canadians (myself being from Toronto), we're gonna have a monopoly on chargers one day muahaha.

Welcome Blaise, not far from achieving the dream and all the troubles and heartbreak that comes with it haha. I'm joking of course, if you can handle the Canadian dollar, overall cost of owning a Mopar as well as the insurance companies taking their stab at you, not to sound disheartening or anything, I've owned mine since i was 19 (68 R/T) and it's been a hell of a ride, i wouldn't do it any other way. Us charger fanatics are cut from a different cloth, we endure and there is no cure.

Im sure i don't need to say but i'll do it anyways, having a goal is perfect, use the time between now and the day you have enough money to gain as much knowledge as possible, since you've been on here a while now you already know we have an endless supply on information. See you around and have fun.
