Houston, you have a problem.....the round part of the spring does not go around the jack handle, it goes on the loop that your jack handle is going through....

just thought you should know...but it's your car

Nope, that is what the loop on the floor is for. Spring loop around the handle of the lug wrench, wrench goes through the loop on the floor.

Okay... My guess is either you are a Podiatrist, a masochist or a fan of the lead Motorcycle gang in the original Mad Max movie.

Love Mad Max. Ive looked at a lot of pix online all all the guys cars i see have the jack handle going through the spring loop. Even in the instructions for sale on year one. When i buy a sticker i will show it. Love that car. havent been posting because ive been working on one of my other cars. Got so many, and i haven't even started on my other 69 charger yet. The one in my pix , i am rebuilding the grill. It was ok but had cracks and i wanted it to be better. Took plenty on pix. When im done i wanted to post pix but i may just start posting them now since im back to working on it again. Plastic welding is cool and im dam good at it. ( 69 charger ABS plastic lol )
