Hey everybody. I am a long time member but I don't frequent the Charger side, mostly the aero forum. Its been a long time since I have owned a Charger and now I just bought a car I used to walk by on my way to school in the 80's. Of course he always used to say that he is going to restore it one day but that day never came and the car just sat there and got way worse over the years. Finally he moved it to the garage and out of the weather. Then a few years later I went over for a visit and he informed me that it was time to let it go. So I bought it and here it is. I still can't believe that I ended up with it after all these years dreaming about it. Its a R/T SE TX9 black 440/auto PS PDB AC PW car. I plan on getting it mechanically sound, new tires, and daily driving it while I finish a couple of other projects. Then it will get paint and interior work. I don't plan on ever doing a rotisserie rest on it being that it is a really solid SoCal car all of its life.

And here are the pics where it sat the last few years.

Nice would you sell it?

Thanks, but no. This one is here to stay.

Keep working on it for the next 25 years, he'll sell.

Wow, that's great that he finally sold it to you! :2thumbs: I like some of the options it has, I imagine it may have been a special ordered car originally. Have you found a build sheet yet?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

No broadcast sheet yet. But I haven't really had the chance just yet. I am preparing another car for Dragweek. Next month we are going to dig deep and while I am at it we will make it a reliable daily driver.
