Didn't have time to take more pics of the challenger as were we rushed to go inside the break room.

Those trucks I think are planned to be used in this movie, not sure though.  They bought them up north (Kansas I think)

Hopefully I will hear something from the movie people this week!! ;D

They decided to go with a 69 charger.   :-\   It is cool.

Here is the email I got:

Manny - they decided this morning to go with 1969 Chargers. I found
some in Chicago we can buy....possibly. You have a great car and I'm
sure I'll have some appropriate gigs for it soon.  You have the only
one I know right now of that year and model. Trust me when I say
later is better. Thanks for your efforts and energy. If things change
or they want to view again I'll get in touch. I took photos of your
Charger and they came out great. Call or inquire anytime. Thanks
again - Russell

I guess it is time to start pulling out the 318 and slapping in the 440!!! ;D

In Chicago!!.....................hmmmmmm  :scratchchin:  let me think from who. Does that place probably start with possilbly an "H"!
"Mother should I trust the government?........... Pink Floyd "Mother"

Wouldn't that just be a double kick in the 'nads.  Buying cars from those clowns so they get richer and then to have the same cars now be worth big bucks because they were on film.

Other then Gettin wreaked as stand in cars I can't think of a Camaro that's all that famous...
sorry  :shruggy:

"Better Off Dead"
80's comedy with John Cusack, and he rebuilds his black '67 Camaro by the end of the movie to race the chinese guys.

Some guy hunted it down years later and fixed it up - then he created a really rockin' website for the car that gives all the details. Many here would appreciate the pages on the search and resto of the vehicle even though it is a Chevy.

Here's the site....

Man that is a great site, I'm a huge Cusack fan and that was one of my favorite movies of his.

Thanks for the link.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Hey sorry to hear your Charger didn't get selected but, hey look at it this way. At least they considered it and looked at it, which is a compliment in itself. Anyways, maybe you'll get selected next time.

Well, I warned the car guy if he was buying from HPLAG in Illinois.

He emailed me back as here is the email:

What do you know about this? Please share. The Charger are proving to
be extremely hard to find above X amount.

That is why I think he was planning to get them from HPLAG as they are cheaper but they are problem cars.

We will see!!

I am going to send him some of the HPLAG links on this board and maybe he will decide not to buy from those guys.
