I have recently purchased a Dana from strange engineering and am in the process of putting it in. I currently have a 727 automatic transmission so I know I need to get a different driveshaft as I previously had the 8 3/4 rear. My question is I am going to be putting in a 4 speed after that and was wondering if the new driveshaft that I am going to get will also work for the 4 speed when I change it out in the future. Anyone have the measurements that i will need for the driveshaft. Thanks Brian

And the new Dana and leaf springs almost ready to go in. Just working on redoing the rear drums. I am keeping the drums in the back, but am going to do the disk conversion in the front. Brian

For a dana equipped 68-70 Charger 4speed car the driveshaft should measure 51 inches from middle of
u-joint to middle of u-joint... :icon_smile_big:

Where can you get a regular dana drivshaft to a 727 tranny?  Thanks
