I see Year One has a 22" fibreglass fan shroud available.

Has anyone used these?

Are they correct?

How did they fit?

What other options are available?

Thanks in advance.

Shakey, I called to order one of these shrouds last year, and the salesman talked me out of it.  He said the fit and finish was not good, and the back side was very sloppy.

The original shrouds are made of unobtainium, but I made a 1970 style work (with the '70 side brackets).  The only modification I had to make was to trim the top of the shroud to fit the round style tank.  (The 22" radiator was rectangular in 1970).

The 1970 style occasionally shows up on e-bay.

I am assuming you have a 26" rad and are talking about the shroud that Mopar Performance also offers - correct?

I am asking because the YO states that the one they offer is fibreglass.  Is the MP shroud plastic or fibreglass?

So if I located 2 of the 22" shrouds from a '69 I should purchase both and keep one as a spare?

I'll also keep my eyes open for one for a '70.

Mike, my rad is from YO and so is the shroud. I purchased the shroud a few years back and i verified that it bolted up to the rad and looked correct...which it does. The rad is a 3 core 26in repro that YO sells, fyi....the previous owner had installed it prior to me obtaining the car but had the YO reciept with all the paperwork.
