Long time ago I got 8.5" ball/ball pushrods from Don at 4secondsflat being 0.05"shorter than the stock ones ( 8.55" I recall is the stock lenght ) Can't recall the brand he sells. There is a posibility I could be needing a bit shorter pushrods due all the decking and heads job. Can I dissasembly one of the ball ends of the pushrods, cut and fit again the ball head on it and be safe ?

Maybe. The trick is getting the end out without damaging it (they're a press fit) and whether or not the tubing is reamed deep enough.

If you have access to a lathe you can using a parting tool to cut through the tubing and expose the end, it's then easy to pry the end out.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
