Ok, just got my new torsion bars in today and one is gloss black and the other is flat black.   Both are from Mopar Performance (made in canada).  Which color would have been from the factory?

Secondly, I am getting ready to install my front sway bar.  What were the original color of the nuts and bolts that mount the sway bar bracket to the K-frame?    This one I have no clue on.

Thanks,

Brian

I have one of those B-Body resto guides and it says "30deg gloss black" on the torsion bars.  Not sure what 30deg means, but I'd say gloss over flat.

Sorry, it doesn't say anything about the nuts and bolts.

Original torsion bars are gloss black and it appears they were dipped because they will often have a line of drips where they were suspended to dry.

The hardware is usually black phosphate coated.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
