I dropped off my baby at the paint shop today. No drive tomorrow, or the next day, or the next... :bawling:
I really enjoyed the drive over though on the new rubber.

If you wore a rubber, how did she get pregnant and give birth ?? :D

I find that at times of sepperation like this, it is definitely the proper and correct time to let your imagination run away with you.

The car, and reality, is not there to remind you of any limits to what you can do with , or to, the car. So, just dont have any limits. Everything is possible in your dreams.

I had to leave my Roadrunner while I was overseas in the army. I dreamed all sorts of stuff to do with the car. It was one of my anchor points in a stressful time.I sent the money orders home to my dad, and told him what I wanted. When I came home, three years later, I had a WOW! car.

And it all started by letting my imagination run away with me. You ought to try it sometime, it very therapeutic. No better time than when sepperated.

The financial reality sometimes overrides the imagination therapy.
Nevertheless one can peruse the parts catalogues and engine build threads innocently enough. :whistling:
I've already noticed a disfunctional rate of posts on my part after getting home from that.

The hood & trunk deck never were right after the '87 repaint. They were both thin on material and splotchy looking in certain light.  ::)
Having them done as well as the 'lawn mower scratch' on drivers door (c. 1990), rear valance 'jack-stand damn it' (2002) & recent small dent by driver side R/T (struggling to not cuss more here).
When hood is done will put back the turn signal blackouts that have been missing for 30 years.
Now I wait  :popcrn:
