It's definitely one of the early style trunk lids where they didn't punch out the "centers" on the sub structure.

other way around: early (8/67-10/67) Charger decklids have the "punch-outs"

That's weird, the above quote from me "dual fours" is not from me. I'm  :shruggy:. Not unless I'm missing something.
That's weirder yet my post quoted it's self :shruggy: :shruggy:.
Lets try this again.

Now I went well below the last
Quotemark, lets see what happens.

Only thing worst then an "April fools car" is a "Halloween car".

You guys just need to be watching where your cursor is, when you are posting with a quote. Place your cursor below (or after) the very last [/quote] tag before you begin typing. ;)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Hey, Did Devil from the Mopar Magazine ever show up, at the HPAC Show ? :shruggy:

GMP440

Outstanding find.  Looks like an April 68 build date at the St. Louis palnt.  FF1 light green metallic.  I'd just clean it up and that's it.  No need for any restoration at all.
Same plant as my 68 Coronet , which was a June build.

Sorry I missed you.
Not too many of us left who even heard of Burl Ives.  I loved his voice in the old Christmas Movies.
His best song IMO...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3yKMWaaD9o

Nice. :2thumbs:

Someone told me that they did away with being able to register classics with the old plates in Kansas.  I hope that they are wrong....

I have two complete sets of my hometown county in Kansas from 1963 to 1974, almost all of them are mint, as well as some back into the 1920s.  Meguires cleaner/wax works wonders for bringing back the paint on them.  Farmers can be good sources of vintage plates, as some of them tend to hoard them in their barns.  One local had 200+ unissued ones from 1972-1975 that were still in the original envelops.  Seems that he ended up with them after purchasing the farm and he ran across them while cleaning a loft.  I only bought a few that I needed before passing the information on to another plate collector who bought them all in one lot....
