Budget Rear Disc Conversion: Scarebird vs MBM?

Hi guys, I've been planning a rear disc conversion on my 8 3/4. I'm on a budget, and would have kept the rear drums if they were on the car when I got it! So rather than buy drum parts, I'd like to convert to disc, as it is something I would have done in the future anyway.  Without a doubt, Scarebird appears to be the cheapest setup, but how does it compare to MBM? I'd be willing to spend some extra cash on the MBM kit is it was worth it, and the Scarebird kit does seem to be Frankensteined together.  I was interested in Invincible Extreme's Mustang disc swap, but I'd like to retain 15" wheels.  Any help/experience with either setup would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Look through this thread.  There are pictures of my install using the mustang calipers.  :coolgleamA:  I highly recommend this setup.  :2thumbs:  Plus the guy selling the parts was in the Military, always good to support the military/ retired military personnel.  :patriot:

Detailed pictures of my rear setup is at the bottom of page 6 on that thread.   :yesnod:

I'm also in the process of putting together the invincible extreme setup, using the 15" front rotors and 13.8" rears. Overkill for me yes, but I'm good with that. Lol I will say that he is extremely easy to deal with and I would recommend his setup.

I do know the scarebird setup has been used on many cars without a problem though.

Thanks for the help guys, I would have loved to used Invincible Extreme's kit if the 11.8 rotors and Mustang calipers would fit under my 15" wheels, I'd be willing to step up to 16" wheels except tire size selection is limited, and I don't really want 17"+ wheels on my car.
