Does anyone have tips on installing an external trans cooler? I bought a B&M cooler and it comes with a few fittings just not the one fitting I can use from the transmission.. I went to good ole trusty checker/orielys and their fittings are quite scarce and very limited.. on the transmission out line it's a compression fitting the compression fitting the kit comes with isn't deep enough to reach the threads.. hope that all makes sense.. B&M says I have to rig something that will work lol I thought about just putting the hose on the threads of the transmission line and putting a screw clamp on it and calling it good but I just don't want to be rolling down the road and have a trans lock us on me..

A picture of the fittings that don't fit together would help a great deal.

I'm having a hard time downloading pics, it says my server is taking to long or photos might be too big.. I'll keep trying to get some

I believe I used all an fitting when I did mine and had the transmission out.  when I ran stick lines I had a hard time finding the fittings.

I switched to the An fittings and went with braided line.

I would like to go with the braided lines.. where did you get them?

I believe I ordered it all from jegs, but I'm sure multiple resources have them.

the braided line made it easier to install etc.
