On a 69 fender tag what is a N31=optional compression ratio?
Thanks.

either a typo, a "BAD" tag, or a difficult to read M31 = "belt mouldings"

Should be M31. Belt molding.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Sometimes turning tag over and reading it from the back will give a clearer picture of the codes...

Mine is a M-31 belt molding, but I saw on the decoding chart a code:N-31 and it said optional compression ratio, what is that, is it something that's just not on the muscle era cars?
