I say rivets, screws will wallow out the metal they are in after time making them loose.

There's always the expensive option - special stud welder and tools.

I'm not clear what is being sold there... rivets, tip, or welder itself... or which welder is used there

Yeah, that is just the "tip adapter".  You'll need a stud welder....not a cheap way out.

Actually not expensive tool for somebody who works on the bussines. I don't think I have ever seen a body man locally working with that thought
