BEST CLUTCH FOR MANUAL 70´RT?

Hello friends. I have to buy a new clutch for my 70´RT Dodge Charger. It´s a manual transmission, DANA 60 3:54 and I am rebuilding the engine to get around 550hp. My plan is to build a mild resto mod, for street driving (and possibilities of some track days).
I´ve been searching and these two look great.Which one of these two do you recommend?

* Centerforce Dual Friction Clutches DF810739   https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/ctf-df810739/reviews/
* McLeod RXT Street Twin Clutch Kits 6921-05   https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/mcl-6921-05/overview/

If you recommend me any other one, it´s also great...
Thanks in advance.

IIRC '70 used what was referred to as a 10.95" clutch. I believe you will need something like this one: https://www.summitracing.com/search/brand/centerforce/part-type/clutch-kits/make/dodge/engine-size/7-2l-440/engine-family/mopar-big-block-rb/input-spline-quantity/18/disc-diameter-in/10-937-in?N=400420%2B4294925559%2B4294951331%2B4294951317%2B4294951315%2B4294925010%2B4294720103&SortBy=Default&SortOrder=Ascending

It would be worth verifying which bellhousing you have and flywheel. If you car is original engine/transmission, it should have an aluminum bell housing on it. Also, don't forget to remove the large spring from your clutch pedal under the dash if you install a diaphragm style clutch. This will allow your clutch pedal to return to the up position.

The folks who did my restoration which is less power than your target used a centerforce because they liked it.  I think the opinion on this forum is that the McLoed is better, but see what they say.  I have not run into any issues with the centerforce and have about 5000 miles on my car so far.  I have not dumped it from 4500-5500 with big sticky tires though.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Side stepped my cf dual friction on slicks at high rpm for years without a problem. 11" clutch was in mine.

My new build is over 550HP also and I'm going with the Ram Powergrip HD. I've read a lot of praises about them but I am running 3.91 gears behind a T-56 magnum. Ram advertises may chatter some with gears higher than 3.73.

Thanks for your replies! The shop is asking me some questions and I'm not a technical, so I appreciate any help in this issue...Could you answer these questions?
What is the diameter and spline count of the input shaft of the transmission?  What size flywheel?  (tooth count)  What size and style clutch is the flywheel drilled for?
I think that the clutch and the whole system is the original one...
Thanks again!!

"If" your whole system is original factory components, then the link to the clutch I sent you will work.

Wouldn't it be an 18 spline trans, 143 tooth flywheel, and 11" disk/clutch?

Aside from the 18 spline, no. I believe stock would have been 18 spline input, 130 tooth flywheel, and 10.95" disc with an aluminum bellhousing.

I had my old McLeod Borg & Beck pressure plate rebuilt with a new 12" disc. After < 7,000 miles, I'm needing to replace it with a new McLeod pressure plate with another new 12" disc I have laying around.

Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I went with a twin disc setup. While the up front cost is higher, it seems in the long run the twin disc clutches perform better and hold up better to high horsepower

Summit guys are recommending me the RAM Powergrip clutch 98503. Here's the link one: https://www.summitracing.com/oh/parts/ram-98503/overview/
What do you think about it?
