Just got my 69 Charger from canada.   awesome body,   bad paint...lol.....looks like someone painted it in their garage....but PO was very proud of it...so now im officialy a mopar owner.  ...the PO painted the grill silver.....and its cracked.....this is a long shot but what are the chances someone is making this grill?....im torn on this car as far as making it "mine" of restoring it back to orig.......its a matching numbers car with 63 K on the odometer documented....the interior needs work, and is green,   and the body is a jaguar green.   almost black....the orig color was a light green  F3?.      light green...any one have a pic of this color so i can see what it looked like orig?....

This is a 68, but I believe the green is essentially the same shade.  Kind of a pea soup green...

Cobradriver, congrats on the new ride!

My '73 is F3 - Lt. Sherwood Green.  It won't be after I get all the bodywork done...it will be dark, dark green or black with a dusting of green.  My friends call the Charger the "Lima Bean" for good reason...I can think of many other colours I'd prefer to see before F3...I woudn't go there unless you wanted to return to "fender-tag original"...just my opinion.

Cheers,

SWEET :drool5:
Where in Canada did you find it?  And is it still here or in the US now?

Hey,69charger2002...where's chargerland? I WANT TO MOVE THERE!(jk)...LOL

cobradriver

it was in woodstock canada....now in savannah GA.....im really thinking of making it my own.....nothing drastic...solid charger,,,,but im trying to figure out whats missing vs whats there...if it was a 69 mach1 i could figure it all out.....BUT.....still working out the issues....the PO spray painted the gril silver.....but it flakes off with my finger....so im thingin a pressure washer and get that silver off....right now it doesnt wanna stay running when i put it in gear....so thats my first project....then figure out if it needs a thermostat....vs rad cap...or water pump....im getting a little draingage issues.....through the overflow tube....little stuff....the interior is iffy...but its a tripple green car....so i am going to attempt to do it in black....

how hard is it for a vinal top to put on??....

Hey 6t9,
Thank you for the registry.  I imagine you are very busy and appreciate your consideration  on my comment below.
I emailed the site regarding my registering of my 69 and you guys have yet to respond.
My question was. After I register, don't I get some kind of confirmation that I have registered.  How do I see what and who is registered, is that possible?  It just seemed kind of disappointing to me that nothing happened after I put my information in.  Maybe I'm just not nav'ing to the right spot on the site.  Please square me away on this if i'm in error.
