White R/T Orselina/Locarno Switzerland?

I was sitting at the bottom of the Orselina Cardada and caught a glimpse of a white 69 or 70 R/T based on rear lights after it had driven past.  Don't see chargers in the US and didn't expect to see one during the week I am here.  It looked nice.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."? 

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us. 

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
