painting underneath

guys i want to paint the underside of my charger the same as the top,want it to look as good underneath as the body :scratchchin: my question is when the frame rail is stamped out at the factory there is lots of ripples/marks from the forming process,do people smooth these out with a light skim or just leave them :shruggy: im quite a long way of that just yet but thought id ask :2thumbs:
I don't care what is is designed to do,I want to know what it can do.

Most people leave them. When I did class A Showcars for Chrysler we smoothed them out & filled spot welds, ect, ect. LEON.

It is entirely up to YOU. You can spend the time and effort to make the underbody look really nice. Only the ants and snakes will know for sure!

Charger-Bodie

I personally think the press marks and spot welds add to the look of the bottom side.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............
