I need to find out what 2 fuses control. The first one is a 40 amp and the "key" says INT BAT , the other one is a 30 amp with no info. These are for a 2001 S10 Blazer ,4.3 . My manual has nothing.

The 2 fuses circled in white.

The maxi fuse  powers a bunch of stuff, my manual shows- hdlp sw,aux pwr, rdo batt, cigar lighter, ctsy lp,and pwr lks, and ampf fuse(with premium audio.)

The 30 amp is HVAC.

if you are blowing that Maxi fuse check the battery cables and alternator

poppa

Not blowing them , if I pull them my wifes battery doesn't die (parasitic draw test) and the pos doesn't turn over by itself. Pull starts relay or crank fuse and it doesn't turn over by itself either. Have to do the parasitic test today on the last two.

When you replaced the ignition switch did the gears get clocked correctly?

poppa

Had to do gear twice ,in correct.

So I check for draw on starter relay and 30 amp fuse , good to go. Hook up battery , put in relay fuse an 10 amp crank fuse , NOT turning over!!! Yay!!! Start it up runs  ,shut it off , shuts off. Thinking I'm close. Uh uh , go to start it again , get key to run , starts turning over ,starts can hear starter grinding away on flywheel. WTF

The starter relay is being powered up either by a short to voltage( unlikely) or a bad switch or incorrectly installed switch. The yellow wire from the ignition switch should only have power when key is turned to start. From there it goes to the crank fuse then through the neutral safety switch and to the solenoid. The fact that you don't crank over with the crank fuse out eliminates everything from the fuse to the solenoid. The problem has to be between the switch and the fuse. Did you ever verify that there isn't a remote start?

poppa

It is a new switch and I am reasonably confident it is installed correctly. First time I put it in it wouldn't turn counter clockwise to acc and it did not "spring" back from start. Does now.

The wife just told me today the dash lights/radio got dimmer for a minute once in awhile. May explain the draw.

I didn't see anything that may have been a remote start. I can only bend and twist so much these days. lol

I hear ya there it can be a challenge to reach everything! Only other thing I can say without looking at it myself is unplug the switch then install your fuse or relay and see if it still cranks on its own. If no then you know it's in the switch.
