Welcome to the madness!
Sorry for the tasteless comments from before. I edited them out. Sometimes I forget that my humor is inappropriate for the conditions.

I had to ask this similar question in reverse order over on Moparts. I had this kit but didn't know what the kit was at the time (hence why I asked). And it turned out that it's the kit that you're asking about (I think). There are these sliders that attach to the glass thru a hole with a peg. 4 sliders & 2 pegs required per glass. These pegs are inserted in the channels and serves as guides.

Thanks goes out to Dayclona on Moparts (I believe he has the same handle in here) for helping answer my question.

Pic 1 is mine showing the sliders & pegs (1 application)
Pic 2 is Dayclona's that he posted in my thread on Moparts showing the locations of the sliders

Hope that's what you were asking about.

Come on, guys.....Anyone ever know a GUY named Kendra? Everyone I ever knew with that name was a great looking chick!   :slap:

No I haven't met a guy named Kendra, but that wasn't Lennard's point. Lennard's comment (which I happen to agree with here) was meant to address how you greeted the OP. It's the members first post and while many of us probably understand that you were joking around it's probably a good bet that Kendra doesn't. In that light I see the comment as a bit much as well. I could make a more elaborate point but simply, if my daughter got hit with that on her first post it would set her back and it would light me up. I'll also mention that while we sling chick around a lot (me included) I don't feel that the follow up helped smooth the situation.

Unless Jims is the only source for these parts, I would venture off and try a different vendor. His prices on most of his parts are WAY over priced.

Has anyone bought glass channel weatherstrip from Restoration Parts and Materials?   They seem to have a wide variety.  There's been a few topics on getting some with tight dimensions and the glass being difficult to move.

I should have mentioned that I had NO experience with "Jim's" and was only posting the site for info as it had a lot of pictures with names of parts... :shruggy: as I asumed a person would "shop around" after knowing what to look for.
Glad to have been of some assistance!

No problem.

I will say one thing, Jim's website is great to use for a parts reference.
