The 2017 Dodge Challenger and Charger in ScatPack form can now be equipped with a Dynamics Package which adds Hellcat bits to the 485hp Mopar muscle cars.

Those folks considering a 2017 Dodge Challenger or Dodge Charger in R/T Scat Pack form can now add the Dynamics Package – which improves performance with a handful of components borrowed from the Hellcat models.

When Dodge introduced the R/T Scat Pack trimline for the 2015 Charger and Challenger, they had effectively created the ultimate budget muscle cars. With the 392 cubic inch Hemi from the SRT lineup delivering 485 horsepower and 475lb-ft of torque and prices starting below $40,000, the Scat Pack Challenger and Charger have proven to be major draws for those buyers hunting for big performance on a budget.

The only downside to the Scat Pack Challenger and Charger is that they don't come with the big brakes from the SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat models, but that changes for the 2017 model year, as buyers can now add the Hellcat wheels, tires and brakes to their Scat Pack car for just $2,200.

That is a great option to have a choice with.
And IMO money well spent.
We can buy 250 extra HP that is seldom used or fully felt but the car always uses the handling and brakes.

Crap! Those wheels are about $1,800-2,000 each and the big Brembo package is about $6,000 if you bought it all at retail.

The main reason I was considering the SRT over the Scat Pack was those bigger brakes and wider tires (although everything I read said neither made an impact on track times and I didn't want to spend the extra $10k for the SRT). The Scat Packs already come with the previous generation SRT brakes so they aren't terrible... ;)

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
