1971 Tire Size Question

Can you run a 275-60-15 on the rear of a 1971 Charger on an 8.5 rim?.....any pics?....or can you go wider on a stock setup?

I run 15 inch rims. 8 inch's wide and fat 50's. A Even Wider Tire. No mods necessary.

I don't remember anymore. Might have been 4.25. I will see if I can find my receipt for the wheels. I generally don't throw those things away, so it's probably in the garage somewhere. I bought them from wheelsforless.com and went with their recommendations.

My front 15x7 wheels are 3.75 back space and my rear 15x8 are 4.5 back space.
