I should have answered the question first. I wouldn't pay anything for that car since he took it off the market because he can't find the fender tag now. Actually, I guess that means I can't pay anything for that car even if I wanted to since it's no longer for sale.
Here's another mention of it:

My standard answer for these types of questions is: it depends on what you would pay for the car. It's worth exactly as much as a buyer will actually pay for it. Someone may really, really, really want that car and pay triple what it's worth (reference Barrett Jackson auctions) but that doesn't mean the next guy would pay anywhere close to it. It looks like the original engine and trans are long gone and probably the rearend as well so that hurts the price some but not enough to pass on the car completely. Even so, the car is possibly worth well over 6 figures when finished if it's legit. I've seen asking prices for a NOM 68 Hemi auto above $125k and I believe Jet is asking $275k for his 69. If a guy paid $16k for a crate Hemi, $5k for the 18 spline 4-speed setup and $60k for the resto I'd think he could still make money even if he paid $40k+ for the car. Now, asking prices obviously do not reflect real world selling prices so that guy could get stuck with a large hole in his bank account and a rusty pile of metal. The guy who has the means but can't find an available Hemi car will end up overpaying for it. Either that or yet another dealer will swoop in and flip it next month for double what they paid for it. This process can continue until someone finally pays a stupid amount for it or until someone rebodies it and sends it to B-J for an even more rediculous amount.
