Have the opportunity at purchasing a bad 5.7 hemi motor, auto transmission, wiring harness, and ecm out of 04 dodge Durango for pretty cheap for my project.

If i rebuild the motor
Can this setup work in a 70 charger?

Basically my question is, is there anything wrong in particular with this year/model I should know that would keep this from being something I should want?

Thanks

I bought a 2004 Ram Hemi engine and all the stuff. (10 years ago) . I remember being told not to get one with the anti theft (grey key) it gets much more complex. I abandoned the Idea and put a 440 in it. Too many expensive hurtles and potential computer issues.  Might be simpler now.

The hurdles are easier to get over now. There are stand-alone harnesses to handle the spark, intake manifolds to run carburetors and conversion swap motor mounts.

I believe MOPAR just started making conversion harnesses to do what you want to do.  Good luck! In 1994, I installed a 1992 318 magnum motor into a 74 charger.  Had some challenges, but they were overcome.  Would love to hear how it works out for you.
