I am sure there are other recommendations out there. I have been running the K&N for awhile, just wondering if there is anything better anyone has tried.

Thanks!

Here is an interesting article on air filtration that may help you decide: https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/airfilter/airtest1.htm

Also, here is a formula to help with the correct size for your engine: http://www.onallcylinders.com/2013/11/27/match-air-filter-size-engine/

There are loads of tests online from qualified people getting similar results...or worse. As I've always said...to get better flow from an air filter you need more air and less filter.....the higher the flow..the higher amount of crap gets through. I used one (as it was free) on my Grand Cherokee....never had dust in the filter box to manifold tube before I used it...5000 miles later it was covered in very, very fine dust. So if you just want to fill that space on top of your carb with a pretty red filter then go for it....but if you want it to actually filter most of the dust out of the air going into your bores (the clue is in the name "air FILTER"!) then look elsewhere.
