I'm not so sure its EE1 anymore...
Maybe its just an off brand color

That is the first Coronet ( thats what it looks like ) that I have seen in that color that looked correct.
I was with my father when he bought a new 68 Coronet and thats the color I remember.
That picture brought back a lot of memories.   Was hoping I could find a picture of the entire car.

Sorry for the response to an old post, but I don't seem many Coronet's this color that look correct. Thanks.

69 OUR/TEA's old Coronet is one of my favorite Mopars..   More pics:

How's your car doing buddy? Did you ever fix the overheating issue?

Hijack...

Yep.. was always chasing something but didn't find it until I unloaded her at Carlisle last year in the 90+ deg heat. She warmed up and immediately started to overheat and up when the idle speed. Turns out the carb to intake bolts were loose. Originally I sent the rad out for re-core and during that time I rebuilt the carb and stuffed an insulating spacer under it. I think during the ensuing thermal choke lever adjustments due to the now taller sitting carb I failed to tighten them sufficiently. I know at one point I tried the old spray around the intake trick but it didn't up the idle. Must have been just tight enough to be sealed until it got HOT. I wasn't really keen on spraying that in there when the engine was HOT to test it either so probably why I missed it.  All weekend it was in the 90s and she was nice and cool.  :2thumbs:

Excellent! Good to hear it was a minor issue.   :2thumbs:

Of all the cars I've owned , can't say I have regrets after selling any of them , but this Coronet I actually miss !!!!! Wouldn't mind having it back .
