Our local PD just picked up '06 Chargers for their patrol cars as well.   Granted.... I'm not all that fond of the new Charger, but its a helluva' lot better than the Impala.

IVE REALLY THOUGHT ALL ALONG, THATS WHY THEY MADE THE CHARGER 4 DOORS, THERE HASNT BEEN A QUALITY 4 DOOR RWD CAR IN YEARS

I KNOW SEVERAL COPS THAT ABSOLUTELY HATE THE IMPALAS/CROWN VICS.....THERE WAS ACCTUALLY A COMPANY OUT OF CHICAGO THAT WAS BUYING AND REBUILDING THE EARLY 90S CAPRICES FROM THE GROUND UP WITH ALL NEW PARTS FOR SQUAD CARS, BECAUSE THE POLICE WERE SO FED UP WITH THE ALTERNATIVES

THE IDIOTS SHOULDVE CALLED IT A MONNACCO,OR INTREPID OR STRATUS ,THEN ALOT OF US MIGHT  BE SAYING THATS NOT TOO BAD OF A CAR

I THINK IT IS ONE OF THE BETTER LOOKING CARS ON THE MARKET,JUST CANT GET PAST THE 4 DOOR THING

Georgia State Patrol just got some, Sorry I don't have pics but they went back to the old school paint job with the orange letters.....OMG that thing looks sweet as a Police car.  I not a new Charger fan but they are sexy police cars.....I'd give up my Crown Vic in a sec to patrol in that......here is my old POS C-Vic.......Charger....or.....Vic....hmm

Only thing good about my car is.......Its not a Chebby Impala Police were to cheap to buy nice cruiser package....with front wheel drive.

The Montana Hwy Patrol has some of the new chargers in the Missoula area.    Some of the people tell me they have more room for the officer and his/her gear.
