Hi all,

I've been thinking about installing an Accel Ignition Coil (part # 8140C) in place of my Valu-Craft unit to generate a higher spark for my 383 BB. Reason being, I have electronic ignition and fuel injection installed on my 69' Charger & simply thought that a better quality unit would be helpful vs. a $19 dollar unit. Any thoughts, feedback, etc.?

Thank you for any and all replies,

Better spark is always a good thing. If the stock replacement is in good working order, i doubt you will feel any improvement in your scenario. Its still worth upgrading in my book. Fwiw, here is my coil. https://m.summitracing.com/parts/msd-8223
