I was cleaning out my garage (The in-laws old residence) trying to find space to get my '68 4-bbl 4-spd A/C project started, when I happened upon this "Swedish Steel" brand of hose clamps. It was in an old coffee can (anyone want a few dozen?) and it made me laugh when I saw it. So 70's. And the hose clamp is the perfect size too. I'd choose this brand over any others.  :yesnod:  I've attached the front and back pics of the package. Made in Sweden. Any offers for the one hose clamp still remaining in the package? Never used....  ;)

I searched for this type of hose clamps and had some shipped from over seas. I used one on the thermostat outlet on an ac car which are hard to get too. Don't have to worry about the worm gear skipping like on a standard clamp. Good stuff :2thumbs:

Rolled edges on hose clamps are hard to get these days.

Volvo's have always had brilliant hose clamps.

Possible they were referring to co** rings, used to delay male release ???:shruggy:

I have bins full of such clamps from NOS aircraft (AN) stock. The worm runs on a rack face on the solid clamp band.. vs open holes cutting into the hose.

Mine don't come with the hot Swedish girl sticking her tongue through the clamp though.. might be able to get a Dutch gal to do so though if it will raise the price..

Hmm, Swedish steel hose clamps. I really need one and could offer an Irish whiskey stopper-for bottles that have been opened but not finished (never used-still in box) or a set of Celtic dancing shoes for a 6-1" 250 pound man received for Christmas but also never used.
