VegasCharger

Kern Dog

Aside from Ted Stevens, the guy in Sandy Oregon and a few others, who buys a huge stockpile like this? I've known a few guys that are like this: They own a boatload of stuff but only want to sell the whole collection at once. These are the guys that die and leave the mess for their family to deal with.   :eek2:

seen a few of these project chargers for sale over the last few years on  either ebay or craigslist , separately  ..... prolly when they were for sale with a previous owner  :yesnod:

There's a lot of Chargers in the lot. It looks like he wants to sell all to one person. I'd like to buy some of what he has, but I couldn't and wouldn't buy it all, and  I don't have enough rich car guy friends to go all in with.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

Why would someone insist on selling them all together. He'd be far better off to sell individually.

You are exactly right on this Kern, I just spent the last year dealing with a situation like this. the guy had a mass collection of cars, from tri 5 Chevrolet to Mopars. he was selling the whole lot, about 15-20 cars, but he wasn't too motivated. he didn't advertise it, just word of mouth. He passed in a car wreck in march and his brother tried to sell them as two groups. the Mopars and the Chevrolets. that lasted about 9 months before he realized it wasn't working and he didn't feel like dealing with it anymore. So he split them all up. It only took a month to sell everything after he did that.

This would be a flippers dream if the seller would agree to letting the cars continue sitting there for a year or so (just have the flip buyer pick em up there).  Otherwise, who would realisticly buy this entire lot?  The moving of all that stuff would be a nightmare in itself.  Then storing it once you got it?  Let alone the cost of the lot (I'm guessing half a million on the low end)

The guy obviously knows his Mopars, so he should know it would take no time at all to sell them all individually.

That white one looks like my uncles old car that showed up on ebay a while back.

I contacted the seller back then, kept in touch... and he just let me know a couple weeks ago that it did sell...but was going to Australia   :shruggy:

Maybe not same car....hard to say

crj1968

Man this dude saved a ton of great parts !     :2thumbs:

If it were me I'd sell them as individual cars with car buyers getting dibs on parts first....but to each their own, just glad to see it all was saved.

Charger_Fan

Wow, what a collection! And most are indoors too, not left out in the "back 40" acres. :2thumbs:

I agree, selling them all at once will be tough. I bet he ends up doing them one at a time eventually, or at least smaller groups.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Godsmack635

I don't think this guy means to sell everything for one price to someone.  I think he means it's all for sale.  Everything from completed cars to car parts is for sale.  I could be wrong but like someone said, he'd make more $$ selling things individually rather than everything for one price.  My  :Twocents:

First sentence of the description states "I HAVE ABOUT 25 CARS THAT I'M SELLING ALL AT 1 TIME." To me that means you gotta take the whole lot.  :shruggy:
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Maybe he's dying and wants it done fast.

So I had a brilliant idea..........I called and asked him.  He said each car is for sale individually as well as parts OR everything goes together.
