YES!  RARE for a Daytona, since it fits a Bird.  :smilielol:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Greg,
Thanks for pointing out this error!
The seller is local to me and a good friend.
It was sold to him as a Daytona wing many years ago.
I have supplied him with pictures of my Daytona and Superbird wings to back up your claim.
He sees the error and will be removing and relisting the wing.
We thank you!
MJ

Also, measure the horizontal stabilizer against yours.  Appears to be cut short.    :shruggy:

:popcrn:   humm i am looking for a bird wing   :popcrn: 4500 was a good price for a daytona wing .  how much should somebody pay for a bird wing now a days anybody have one ?  ?

Hemi Runner

Depends on their budget and how bad they want it. I bought one from a member here that was pristine, had a cut down airfoil and an NOS center section for a lot less. That's a $1500 wing if I'm buying. If some some rich dude needs one to finish the resto on his hemi bird it might bring $7500

Does appear short, could be the photo angle? a Bird center is 55 1/2" +/- 1/4"  on avg in width

And the castings have numerous pits in them, random pattern.
If you are going for GOLD, you need the pits!! :2thumbs:

I measured my Superbird horizontal section at 55 1/2".
The seller just confirmed that the one up for sale is the same 55 1/2".

Well, glad to have that info corrected in my mind. Thanks for setting me straight. I was sure I read somewhere, when talking about people sitting on the wings, that they were made of pot metal. I guess the source was wrong, and so have I been...

While scanning my EBAY ads this morning I noticed that the price of the SUPERBIRD wing has been lowered by a $1,000.00 to a more reasonable $3,500.00.

Wrong link but I had already found it. I put in my offer and he countered but we're too far apart on this one.  :shruggy:

anyone ask him if the center section has been cut as it does look a little short and no pics of the horizontal stabilizer ends?
