1969 Charger headlight "insert"/"bezel"

Hey guys,
The "bezel" or "insert" that is behind the hideaway headlamp doors on (some?) Gen II Chargers and surrounds the headlights... what models was this present on? It looks like I can see it on many '68 and '69 models but not all, but I can't tell if this is just the distance in the picture or absence of bezel/insert. When I bought my charger, there was no bezel/insert, so I figured mine didn't come with it, but have never asked or found a solid answer on actual presence from the factory. Thanks in advance!

68 only part. But it can be added to a 69 very easily.

You'll notice they all have the vertical ribs painted which was a 68 only thing. So yeah, what Brian said: 68 only but people like the look and add them to 69s.

I painted mine to match as well. I know nobody will ever see these, but I feel better knowing the grille is more complete now.

Hmmm.....gonna have to sell another body organ and find myself a couple of those I think!!.....looks much more "finished" with them.

fitted them to mine too ! painted to match the 69 grill
