Can anyone tell me what the part is called that I am looking for. My paint shop lost it. So I am looking for new ones.

It's inside the engine bay. On top of the firewall. It's the cut outs that are directly under the hood vents. The cut cut outs on the fire way there are suppose to have a screen over them. There are two of them.

Thanks for your help.

One of my "mottos" is that If I need help, I make it easy for people to help. Your request makes it difficult. No Model. No model year. No pictures of the area.

Hey Acudanut, if JDUV does not buy them I might be interested. Would you post them to Australia?

ACUDANUT

I had better look at mine today. I thought it had broken due to age and going brittle but upon inspection the plastic is in fairly good condition. I think the hole was probably caused by a rat? Looks like it has little chew marks on it!
Its been like that since I have owned it so maybe the last owner had it in storage for a while.

Anyway the rest of the screen and the other side are not about to brake away like I thought so a replacement is not as urgent as I first thought.
I would still buy a set of either of you if the whole shipping to Australia is not too big a hassle? How much would you be chasing for the set of 2 and do you have any idea on cost or involvement in the shipping thing?

If this is a pain I won't worrie about it for now.

Cheers

Let me explore the shipping options. There is customs to deal with as well.   :eek2:
*Update* ... According to USPS no matter if I use a shipping padded envelope or small box, shipping will be OVER $60 (US).  I doubt you'd want to pay that.
Thoughts?  :popcrn:

redgum78

I just checked the conversion, $60USD will be over $80AUD by the time I pay the conversion fee. I will need to get a set eventually but I might wait on it for a while. Thanks for looking into it for me.
