Anyone completely fabricate a dash?

Just kicking around some ideas and wondering if anyone has fabricated a complete dash? Given the shape of the dash pad, and how our ideas are unfolding for this car, I thinking a NASCAR styled dash. I'll want to retain a few AC and defroster ducts which shouldn't be hard. Just curious if anyone has some examples of their work?.

I replaced all my gauges with Auto Meter gauges and running LED dash lights. Looks cool and I get a lot of compliments

I pulled the gauge cluster (74 non-rallye) tonight. I don't think I am going to have the real estate to do this across the original space. I may end up putting fuel and volts where the radio used to be, but that's ok with me.
