Anyone had any experience with them ? Any thoughts on this 68 ? Thanks

No way that car is worth 65 large!

I wouldn't even think about it for that price. You can try calling them to see about coming down in price but I doubt it would be close to what the car is actually worth.

I'd see it getting half of what they are asking maybe 35k tops. The paint is nice in areas and not so much where its going to matter the most. The motor and engine area could use quite a bit of attention to try and command a 65 thousand dollar asking price.

Check out hemmings and cars on line to see what a real 60 thousand dollar charger looks like and then you will see why this one isn't.

Yep, matching numbers almost perfect R/T price for a poser.

I visited the Nashville location during Christmas during a family gathering.. They told me their business model is all consignment. They don't own any of the vehicles..... That's my impression.....

I have one of their sites near me.  You can find the occasional steal as they ONLY do consignment.  And sometimes owners are dumping.

That said I believe they will get north of $55k for this car.  I have NO idea where the others are getting $35k from.  You cannot find a black/black 68 440 charger anywhere south of $50k with a body like that.  Also remember the people on a forum is not an accurate representation of the market.  Guys here think they can - or actually can - build and restore.  The actual market is full of professionals that want to buy and drive - and will PAY for it.

Looks like a clean car.  Go negotiate a deal based upon your next best alternative!

But you have to watch what they have.  Looked at a 67 GTX there and it was a clone, but they kept trying to convince me it was real.  The price wasn't bad if it had been real but as others have stated it was on consignment, maybe they didn't realize it wasn't real.  Considering the White Hemi 500 that only bid to 95K at Barrett Saturday, I think this car is overpriced from the pics.  Good luck on the hunt.

I agree.  As one who has been shopping for months for another Charger the market is very strong right now.  And without getting political. . . . with the election over many feeling optimistic about the economy, I feel the prices will only increase. This car will bring more than $35.

I live in Lake Villa and drive past that lot every day.  Looks like a General Lee clone factory.   Sold Hanz a car about 20 years ago but haven't seen him in a long time.

Hans Luedtke is a crook that sells complete crap for showroom car money. There are countless stories on this board about him and his ever name changing operations. Run away and never look back.

I have never been there but have heard nightmares about them.  The GTX I looked at was at Gateway.

The "Craftsmanship" displayed by Hans is unique to say the least.  It amazes me that they keep a lot full of General Lee (Poorly Done) Clones, I would think the GL demand would be lower by now.

It's an R/T clone originally with a lot of aftermarket products on the engine and elsewhere on the car.

The paint is nice but no where near what a 65k car would have. The right rear quarter looks rushed over while masking the car off to paint. A lot of other areas look rushed iffy etc on the car. So I wouldn't risk my money on that alone. Their isn't any pictures of the restoration so who knows what is under the paint. The seller isn't the owner as they sell on consignment so unless I could get some intel from the person who owns it again I wouldn't risk 65k on it or any number close to it.

Black '68 R/Ts are like General Lees or '71 HemiCudas - People want them just like that.  They are prone to selling for more than the sum of the parts.
