Dear all,

Currently my charger is undergoing a complete tear down of the mechanics and i am evaluating which part can remain and some will be sent for sandblasting & powdercoating.
Within that, i am trying to figure out if i can remove the torsion bar adjustment arm (? dont know the real name for it) so blast it and coat it. :popcrn:

How can i remove it w/o damaging the control arm? is there any possibility?

Hi!

The control arm stays as one assembly. The pivot that puts tension on the torsion bar does not come apart. Just blast the whole thing and paint/powder coat to your liking. Originally they were just left bare steel and dipped in cosmoline.

But get the old bushing out first if you haven't done so.
