Saw an artist rendering in sept 05 Motor Trend, much better than the 06 Charger. Of course daimler will screw it up well before production.

A guy named Doug Schramm has thrown together a few '09 Challenger drawings, along with some 'Cuda stuff here: http://www.creatingthelie.com/ and here: http://www.stockmopar.com/2009-dodge-challenger.html Info on this second link says, "The new Challenger is supposed to make its debut at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show, where a concept car is to be released." So that gives DCX a good three years to really screw it up.

All I can say is I wish Schramm had Trevor Creed's job right now.

Sorry to disappoint you guys but DCX has already said that the upcoming Challenger is not going to be a Retro designed car so you might as well
get used to the idea of another ugly POS.

I don't like it.  Looks to much like the old car but not as good.  If you build a new car based on retro cues it needs to look better than what it's trying to mimic.

I think the real problem is they didn't make the charger for "us".  They made it for yuppies.  I'm sure they could make "us" the car "we" want but they don't give a damn what "we" want.
