Only 60? I can't believe that. Star Wars came out in 1977, I was 11. She was 20 then? I'm not buying that.

Yep, she was very young in the first SW movie (Ep#4).  

She was the daughter of two Hollywood celebrities.  Had a lot of natural attitude.  The princess bit wasn't a big stretch.
And her voice always seemed kind of "old" for her age.  That wasn't doing her any favors later in life but it helped her in the early SW movies.



She just said in a recent bio book that she & Harrison Ford were hooking up during that first movie.  40yo rumor confirmed.

It's really ironic that they died just a few hours apart from each other. Kind of a bummer, but at least now Debbie won't have to plan any funeral arrangements.
