K-member isolators

I'm going to be replacing the isolators when I reinstall the k-member on my '73 Ralley.  I noticed that no one makes exact replacements.  You have a choice of poly:

or metal

http://firmfeel.com/b_body_late_mopar_sub_frame_isolators.html

Is there a significant difference between the two?  The metal ones come with new bolts.  The poly do not so I assume they are meant to be used with the factory bolts.

Also, there were a couple shims on one of the isolators that I took off.  I believe these were factory installed.  Do I resuse them (in the same location of course) with the new isolators?  Do they even fit the aftermarket pieces? How did the factory determine that shims were needed?

Thanks

Curt

We have completed the metal fab work on the isolators and are in the process of doing the rubber pucks that will complete the assembly.  We are also working at this time on the transmission torsion bar cross member isolators as well so that they can be offered as a complete assembly.  These are being developed from NOS samples and will duplicate the originals in all aspects.  Hopefully they will be available by the end of April.

That's good news 69bfan.  Unfortunately I'll need to make this purchase within the next few days.

I'm looking at these now:

They look closer to stock than the others.  Has anyone used these before?

Still curious as to how these aftermarket isolators will work with factory shims.
