Anyone can recommend deicer that won't damage concrete?

Unfortunately, there really isn't one.  The problem isn't the de-icer itself, it's when the ice is melted, the melted water penetrates the concrete.  When that water subsequently freezes, it expands and can crack and spall the concrete.
