A quick question. My wife suggested getting a gift certificate of some sort for someone who is running, rebuilding, possibly restoring a 3rd generation.  I thought for a moment and did not know exactly what I would suggest.  then I thought I could post a note here.

Any suggestions.  looking for something that isn't huge, probably in the $50-100 range if that makes a difference where to look.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

I love buying from summit.   :2thumbs:
https://www.summitracing.com/

There are a lot of others as well, Legendary, Classic, Vans auto, Mancini, ect. ect.

Don't do Year One, $100 would only cover the shipping.

That's what I would do. It's the modern way of giving cash in an envelope!   :2thumbs:
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I'm a huge fan of Summit and Amazon. It's truly amazing what you can get on Amazon (if you know how to search) and I'm a Prime member so shipping is fast and free. If it's a small amount there's a myriad of little things at those 2 places that may not be restoration specific but are necessary on all our cars (head lamps for example since my local parts stores don't carry them in stock!!!).

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
