I keep getting things in the mail!
The wife has a Honda, I have a Ram truck. These apparently are possibly equipped with the defective air bags that are subject to the massive recall.
I guess I should do something about this.   :eek2:

Definitely.... most are recalled due to an overload of C4 and if they go off they cause burns to your face, her chest etc... These systems are worth thousands of dollars, take the time to get them done!

Had the driver side replaced on my Challenger back in April. Then two months later they release a recall for the passenger side  :brickwall:

D/S and P/S airbags replaced on the wifes '02 CR-V 2 years back. D/S bag on my '05 Magnum last year and a notice for the P/S a few months back. Probably get the bags in sometime mid 2017 is my bet. So far nothing on the '01 Ram. Hope it stays that way.

I had my drivers side only done on my 2006 ram 2500 before i sold it. not sure what all they do. i heard it was the small pressurized thing that has to much pressure and they change it out with one with less pressure. But I'm not really sure. It was a hassle to schedule an appointment :flame:

Did my wives Acura D/S last year.  I thought I could just go in and leave the car to get it done, wrong.  They said I needed to schedule an appointment because they didn't normally keep the right parts in stock.  Evidently they were having to change out so many they couldn't keep all the models is stock.  After making the appointment it took about 4 hours at the dealer to get it done (that included wait time before they started on it.)

Me too. Work order said 1/2 hour to replace it but it took all day.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

There is a vin decoder on the Honda site that will allow you to see if your car is subject to the recall
