Any idea how i get the 2005 general lee movie look that are wide in front. The new vectors i have now are pretty much touching the upper balls joints.

RCCDrew

Do you have the 8.5" vectors? If they don't have enough offset you can use a spacer.

15x10 Vectors for the rat.

mopardev69

Correct they're 8.5x15 im guessing i have to go with a one inch wheel spacer for the front to be what om looking for. I found a guy with with older run of the 2 vectors for a chevy so id have to drill the holes bigger to fit. Are those 8.5s on the front of yours?

VegasCharger

Wow an 8+ year hiatus thread bump. That's got to be a record.

As far as I know that is true, no more Indy's  I have one more new pair of N-50's left on the shelf so I
am ok for a while.

I thought so.

I wish they would make some more.  :coolgleamA:

Anyone know anyone that has a pair of 15x8.5 or 15x10 of vectors for sale. I really dont want to buy another pair of new ones and have to use wheel spacers in the rear with big block torque stress on them.

15x6 stock steel wheels with the correct dog dish hubcaps and Goodyear redline bias plys, car car with the 14s but the 15s fit the wheel well better IMO, bias plys are the only way to go on any muscle car IMO even tho the ride is crap.....

This was my thinking and why we went to 17" wheels, sort of. Initially it was for the updating of the car as it mita been reasonably updated over time rather than "preserved" while driving. But ultimately it was the tire choice that decided the matter for us.

Yeah....only joking. I fully understand it on a numbers car, survivor or factory type restoration. Might look a bit odd on a restomod though.

Total guess here but I'm gonna say 245/60/15 front and 295/50/15 rear.

darbgnik

255/60R15 on 7" wide fronts, 275/60R15 on 8" rears. Steelies with poverty caps.  :coolgleamA:
