Can I find out if my charger had both head rests from build sheet. What date?

68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

I thought it was before that. My cars build date was in November of '68 and it has both.

They were optional from the start of the model year & became mandatory about the end of the year, I'll look for the date.

The fender tag / broadcast sheet date is the day they hoped to build the car when the order was first entered the system, & cars were built early & late very often.

So check the headrests box in line 6 of your broadcast sheet to see if there is a headrest code. It is also possible that they stopped coding them on the sheets once they became mandatory.
