wingless now, but still around.

Nice.... I would love them too... But, with my budget, I'm better off replating my originals... Plus, they get overspray on them anyways once assembled....

Thanks for the link....

I wish I had seen this when I was gathering parts....No funds left for them now.

That price tag stings!...you do know they are just 70-1 Fury GT turn signals?, lenses are avaliable repro from Laysons, and very nice quality and fit

I usually scan the C body forums for used Fury/Fury GT turn signals, standard Fury's had amber lenses, GT's had the clear lense, but the housings are all the same, last pr of C body housings I scored were $20 for the set, the repro lenses were killer though at $175 pr

well heck...
I need to check for some Fury housings... I have NOS lenses... Thanks Mike for the mentoring....... again.....

As I read the ad, my understanding is that these are reproduction lenses.

The housings are NOS? No need to replate rusty housings any '70 Fury is a source. Not sure as to the #'s on '71 housings.

I believe All the '70 fury lenses are clear. I also believe all the '71 Fury lenses are yellow.

Troy, you always seem to want top dollar for your parts, evidenced by your current offering of dash parts. This guy seems right up your pricing strategy.

Redbird

I think BE/A lenses are very good, but not perfect.

I have a pair of BE/A lenses and both NOS and used lenses. The original and BE/A lenses match perfectly on the back, but they are ever so slightly different on the front profile.

FJ5WING

On the B-E&A lenses, I must not be too picky because I have an NOS piece and 3 used including my nice originals and I feel the repops are very good!???

I double checked on the lenses, 70 Fury's are amber, 70 Sport GT Fury's are clear, and your correct all 71 Fury's base models and GT are amber, the housings are all the same as I've bought housings from 70 and 71 Fury's for customer's Superbird projects/builds

Yep.. only the 70 GT that had clear lenses.. just wish as a teenager I had a crystal ball to know enough to pilfer all these parts at the yard I frequented most Saturday mornings!

Thanks for the info guys! I knew that they were off another Mopar but couldn't remember which one.  :2thumbs:

Aero426

Doubt they will be going anywhere at that price.    I had several LH sides NOS when I sold out back in 2009.  I think the best I ever did was $300 give or take.   The BE/A replicas are nice and won't help push those prices up. Seller wants to hook a big fish.

birdsandbees

Well B&E is $245US just for the pair of lenses.. so what are the housings and lamp harness worth?

just about everyone knows the fury type housings are the same. One of the first things you learn when getting into birds. The funny thing is how all the old timers are so secretive about it LOL  And remember. Once you bolt on an NOS part. After a while it wears to being just the same condition as a good used one. So why pay all that?? LOL

Redbird

I have a 1970 Collision Parts Catalog. I believe the list price of the lenses in 1970 was $ 2.20 each.

The lenses seem to be listed with both a right and left part number.

There is only one lens listed in the catalog for the 1970 Fury for each side.

In the distant past I thought that I had taken clear lenses off 1970 Fury's that were not GT's.

Are the part numbers for the clear and amber lenses different?

6bblgt

BE&A's "SUPERBIRD"  lenses are currently on sale for $125/pair

IIRC:  Layson's lenses are poured resin VS. BE&A's being injection molded

3403092-3403093 park & signal lamp assemblies * Superbird & '70 Fury

3403092-3403093 housing * Superbird & '70 Fury

3514302-3514303 lens (clear) * Superbird & '70 Fury

the amber lenses are '70 Coronet (unpainted & "rounded" corners) close but not quite
&
'71 Fury (painted)

Redbird

I'm of the mind that 1970 Coronet lenses with the radiused corners are not related in application to the '70 and '71 Fury lenses with the distinct sharp corners.

You mean EVERYONE knows about the Fury Turn Signal Secret? When did that leak out!?!  lol!
I need to get retrained after 20 years out of the Superbird world.  Next thing I'll find out is everyone knows the secret where the beep-beep horns come from.  :icon_smile_big:

And to think that where we had our nos nose installed a couple years ago that shop conveniently "misplaced" our nos ones we bought at Carlisle years ago and we never got them back or installed.  So sick of crooks in this business / hobby, another reason to just let the bird sit and rot. Sorry for the rant. :flame:

Take EVERYTHING off the body, have it repaired and painted, bring it home and put it back together there.............. Or, bring it to me...... I'll put it back together with minimal charge ( fun money to help me with my own hobby )........
