I was checking out some automotive news stories when I ran across this one on "newatlas.com".  The story basically states that Jaguar has made the first "bona-fided" Barrel Roll with their new E-Pace.  Feel free to correct me if I am wrong...BUT a U.S. driver by the name of Jay Milligan did what he called "The Spiral Jump" with an AMC Javelin back in 1972.  And, this same jump was later performed in the Roger Moore, James Bond Movie, "Man with the Golden Gun".  Check out http://jalopnik.com/the-james-bond-corkscrew-jump, for interesting information on how it was done with an AMC Hornet in Thailand for 007.  Not sure why they claim to be the first when clearly it has already been done, and in a lonely old AMC no less!  :o

(*Just trying to give AMC credit, where credit is due......... ;) )

The orange race truck deserves some extra points for driving away from it without a landing ramp.

I don't see anywhere on there that they claim to be the first to do it. So the record must be the distance travelled......or something else I've missed??

EDIT; Its distance airbourne...beating the record set by its bigger brother...the F Pace.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

Yup, it's distance travelled in a production vehicle.

Here's a behind the scenes vid jag released.
