I recently purchased this '70 500 383/auto car from another member on the board.  Had it shipped from the upper midwest to where I'm stationed in southern California.  It'll be nice to finally have a Mopar to drive, as the '73 is in my Dad's garage in St. Louis slowly being worked on (going on 14 years now) and is surely several years from being on the road.

It's originally a TX9/black interior/white vinyl top car, which I cannot find a picture of.  I can't even find a picture of a Mopar in that combo, so if anyone has one, I'd love to see it.

First picture is the "new" Charger leaving it's old home in North Dakota, second is in it's new home here near San Diego.

Sweet looks like a nice car....and it's a 70 so even better.   :yesnod:

I was stationed down in San Diego in the 80's  (Desert Storm)

I found my first mopar sitting for sale in the base parking lot on 32nd street. a nice 383 Cornet 500 for $1200.   :icon_smile_big:

Thanks guys.

Near term plans are to do a few things to make it mine (wheels, exhaust, disc brakes) and just drive it.

Long term plans will be a mild restoration, painting it back to black of course.
