This 71 RT is at my friends speed shop for some more engine mods. Sorry for the shortage of pics and the lighting, the camera batteries died after these three. The car has a luggage rack which is of course hard to see due to the poor quality of the photos. :-[  I will try to get more before it leaves.

Why anyone would need a luggage rack on a charger is beyond me.  I once fit a full size xmas tree in the trunk of my old one.  But I guess it just adds to the list of options today...  Nice car btw, if you get a chance to see it without the cover take a few more.   :yesnod:

Sounds like a cool car.My car is a luggage rack car as well.I am going to probably put mine back on to be a little different than everyone else. :icon_smile_cool:

Hey Charger1973,there was a time when the E body guys didn't want to put luggage racks back on their cars either, but now it is pretty much the norm' to see them on E bodies,it is probably in part becuase a few owners wanted to go against the grain and do something a little different. ;D
Hey Mass'..........................MORE PICS!PLEASE!..................Hopefully without the cover.......why are you teasing us!? ;)

Actually it's the pictures that make the car hard to see.  :smilielol:   More pics :smash: :smash: :smash:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I'm going to try to get more (and better) pics but the owner is super anal. I don't think the shop owner will want me touching the cover. I'll try to be there when he moves the car outside, weather permitting of course. I waited around the morning the car was being dropped off but the sun hadn't come out yet so the owner wouldn't risk driving it. As far as the paint color it is a silver gray, but it appears to have a gunmetal blue color low down in the engine bay.
